Conference on inclusive and sustainable economic development

SA-TIED participated in a two-day conference on ‘Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Development – Envisioning Wealth for All’ at the Bingu International Conference Centre in Lilongwe, Malawi.

The conference relates to the work stream on Climate change and energy transition as drivers of change, and participants included staff from the Economic Association of Malawi (ECAMA) and the National Planning Commission.

Conference speakers included the Chief Secretary to the Government of Malawi and featured a keynote speech by the United Nations Resident Coordinator. It also included the Director General and his staff on the National Planning Commission and members of ECAMA.
