Modelling Distance Course
SA-TIED will hold an 8-week online modelling distance course. This online course is being carried out by the SA-TIED work stream on Climate and Energy.
The course will be run on the Moodle platform and participants will take classes on: economy-wide modelling and Social Accounting Matrices (SAM); SAM multiplier models; General Algebraic Modelling System (GAMS); partial equilibrium modelling using GAMS; developing a small CGE model; the 123 model; and, the IFPRI standard model.
