Deadline to apply for the Young Scholars programme has now been extended

Are you a post-graduate student based in South Africa with a keen interest in conducting research on development economics? If you are, there's still time to submit your application to join the SA-TIED Young Scholars programme as the deadline will be extended until 11 October 2019 (23:59 UTC+3)

UNU-WIDER and its partners in the SA-TIED programme is inviting interested participants to apply for the Southern Africa – Towards Inclusive Economic Development (SA-TIED) Young Scholars programme.

The Young Scholars programme supports the research careers of promising post-graduate university students based in South Africa. As a part of the programme application, you are expected to submit a research proposal based on your post-graduate-level thesis research or an independent research project. Your proposal is expected to align thematically with at least one of the SA-TIED work streams.
